Happy Friday! It is a happy one over here, as I got to spend the whole morning, creating away in the studio. Here's a behind the scenes look at me preparing my stains, before I add paint to them. The holiday markets are just a few short weeks away, and I'm working to make a few more small pieces for you! I'll post these again, during the painting process, so you can come on the journey with me. xo
It's been a good week of painting for me. I've been thinking about how I can help you make your life a bit more artful and have a little beauty touch you every day. Hand sized paintings, that is 8x10" or smaller, have been on mind. They seem to feel accessible to people, when I'm out doing shows. Smallish, bite-sized pieces of art they can easily usher into their homes. This has been inspiring me to create a series at this size. But just because they are smaller in size doesn't mean they are less in meaning or value. A lot of heart and feeling has been circulating around here, and it's all going into the art, as always!
Here's a peak of an outdoor studio day, a day so beautiful, I just couldn't resist it. And a peak of a few new smaller pieces. The need a few more finishing touches and some verse added. You'll find them in the shop soon. I'd love to hear your thoughts on them! xo
