I've been reading up on Spirit Animals for fun, and thought they could serve as a spring board for our next art project in art class. The kids were really excited about the idea and about choosing the animal they love and identify with the best. The process was a 2-step one. Once they had chose their animal, they painted 1 even background colour and created stamp plated you see below, to stamp in a cool, abstract background. Once this was dry, they looked at photos of their chosen animals, and free painted their animal. This was a truly fun one, that rally captured their joy and creativity and it shows through their art work! Enjoy! xo
